Objective Details:
To ensure there is no question of what may happen, additional details
are presented. The desired outcome of preserving the Pulda Property
for open space is a multi-step and multi faceted endeavor. As
this is a combination of legal and political activities, the
final outcome is unknown. If we can see this through to the end,
we have an excellent chance of at least some success in meeting
our objectives
As the property was originally zoned R1, not Farm Land or Open Space,
our first step and only current legal recourse is to reverse that
decision back to R1. This is what the lawyer hired with your donations
is currently working on.
The efforts of NBRAHDH will likely result in one of the following:
· Full Success - Preservation
of the property as open space, a win for all
North Brunswick residents. This requires the cooperation
of the current North Brunswick Administration
· Partial Success- Achieving
R1 zoning, which will permit the construction
of approximately 65 high value, upscale, estate type
homes, which are in character with the neighborhood. This
construction avoids high density housing and
has public access to the area.
· Limited Success - Construction
of the PAC, but with concessions by the builder
to reduce the negative impact on the surrounding
community and/or provide amenities that can be used by all
residents of North Brusnwick
· No Success - No change
in plans with full degradation of the area with 325 units
of high density construction, traffic,
pollution, 50 ' out of neighborhood character buildings,
no public access to the area.
